Ontario.
Born
in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Sarah attended Seneca College (Toronto) where she
graduated with honours from the Fashion Arts program in 2005. In 2007, Sarah
launched her own label, sar couture by sarah nicol, while
continuing to work as an assistant to two of Canada's leading designers.
Sarah
Nicol is one of Canada’s top new women’s wear designers. After winning the
illustrious Toronto Fashion Incubator’s “Elle
Canada’s New Labels 2007” with her debut label Quelques Filles, she has emerged as a new talent to be noticed! Her
designs have been featured in a host of events and publications throughout
Toronto and Montreal: Toronto's Fashion
and Design Festival, Fashion Takes Action: An Eco-Couture Gala, The Bell
Celebrity Gala, L'Oreal Fashion Week
Spring 2008, Cadbury's Chocolate Couture Fashion Show 2007, Elle Canada, Style,
Flare and Lush magazines just to name a few.
Sarah
